Changes in the squad

Ivan Pesic leaves the club, Viachaslau Saldatsenka signed the contract.

For a long time, Ivan Pesic could not train and missed the start of the season due to health problems. By mid-October, his condition improved, and the goalkeeper played several matches. However, the problems still prevents Ivan from full recover.

An in-depth medical examination showed that full recovery takes a long time. Unfortunately, we have to terminate the contract for medical reasons. In the near future Ivan will leave the team.

Pesic is one of the leaders in number of matches played for Meshkov Brest. The goalkeeper joined the team in the summer of 2013 and spent eight and a half seasons in Brest. He has 327 games, of which 98 are in the SEHA League, 100 are in the Champions League. He is an eight-time champion of Belarus, a seven-time winner of the Cup of Belarus, twice a silver medalist in the SEHA League, a quarter-finalist of the Champions League...

Meshkov Brest thanks Ivan Pesich for his huge contribution to the club´s achievements and sincerely wishes him health and success!

Due to the current situation, 27-year-old goalkeeper of the national team of Belarus and Romanian "Bacau" Viachaslau Saldatsenka will join the club. The contract was signed until the end of the season with the possibility of an extension.

Saldatsenka played for SKA Minsk, the German "Balingen", as well as for the Romanian "Odorhei-Secuesc", "Constanta" and "Bacau". He participated with the national team in the 2017 World Championship and the 2016, -2018 and -2020 European Championships.
